AIR FILTRATION

1" Standard Air Filters VS. MERV Filtration

We know so much more about indoor air quality than even 10 years ago. We’ve learned that contaminants such as allergens and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) tend to accumulate inside indoor air. We have a way to remove them from our homes!

Benefits of MERV Filtration?

HEPA stands for high-efficiency particulate air. HEPA filters are effective at capturing very fine particles, such as viruses, bacteria, pollen, PM2.5, and allergens. The term ‘HEPA’ means that a filter must be able to remove 99.97% of particles. It is a strict set of requirements that must be met for a filter to be considered a ‘HEPA Filter’.

These air filtration systems are especially useful for people suffering from respiratory conditions such as asthma and allergies, and for people who want to avoid developing such problems. For example, some HEPA air purifier products will capture 99.97 percent of microscopic particulate, odor, and gas pollutants using a combination of electrostatic and mechanical filtration processes, effectively making the air in your home safer for your family.
